History

AMS Poland Sp. z o.o. was founded in 1994. The company is based in Katowice and operates mainly in southern Poland.

 

Since its inception, AMS Poland Sp. z o.o. has been carrying out a comprehensive implementation of the Energy Systems Facilities, their upgrade and operation (equipment monitoring and maintenance).

Depending on the classification of the facility and electricity supply methods, AMS implements MV lines and provides MV switchgear and transformer stations. For the purpose of division and distribution of electricity in terms of low voltage, the company offers LV switchgear, measurement systems, meter boards, cable connectors and power automation systems. Most of these devices are pre-fabricated by AMS using the latest technologies and based on the state-of-the-art equipment from leading manufacturers.

 

The ongoing operations include electrical, power, telecommunication, lightning protection and information (computer network) systems. The work is carried out taking into account the current trends, using specialized equipment, necessary facilities and equipment by acclaimed companies.

 

The AMS group includes EDISON Electric Wholesale that offers a comprehensive supply of materials and electrical devices as well as measuring instrumentation and automation. Agreements with the manufacturers of cables, wires, electrical equipment and accessories allow for maintaining competitive prices and short order lead times.

 

In mid-2004, taking into account the suggestions and needs of existing customers, AMS introduced uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and standby (power generators) systems to its portfolio. UPS systems with power unit outputs of 1kVA to 1MVA and power generators with a capacity of 10 kVA to 2.5 MVA that constitute an integral part of a facility energy system, ensure the highest level of safety and reliability of power supply of the equipment regardless of the state of the power grid.

The UPS systems use batteries only from reputable manufacturers and by-pass systems for single and parallel operations.

 

In terms of generator systems, AMS provides ATS systems and performs complete technological and construction works, such as exhaust removal systems (pressure stacks), ventilation systems, silencers, automatic dampers, solid blinds, fuel systems and fuel storage container enclosures.

 

Since 1998, AMS Poland has also been providing services in the field of after-sales service of UPS systems and generators.

The company has an experienced design team. All employees have the appropriate permissions required to perform their duties including construction, electrical, measuring and SEP [Association of Polish Electrical Engineers] industry certifications.

In 2009, a branch of AMS Poland Sp. z o.o. was created in Warsaw, providing full services throughout the country. The package of services was further expanded to include specialized technical analyses and lease of high-powered generators.

Since 2009, AMS has enjoyed the status of Schneider Electric business partner, thus increasing its portfolio of offers with APC products.
